g15daemon randomly crashes

hi,
after a upgrade to the 2.6.24 debian kernel image g15daemon randomly crashes. The screen got freezed. killing g15deamon doesn't work. Running lsusb doesn't work when g15daemon is crashed so i guess the problem could be usb related and not g15daemons...
Any ideas?

i updated my bios, and everything works now!

If you have random crashes, boot and test memory with memtest86+ (minimun 20 min test). Changing kernel or packages could "discover" memory corruption, previously hidden by unimportant data.

ok,
i discovered that the problem is somthing else. the crashes also happens when i'm running debian 2.6.22 kernel. and even when g15daemon is not running.
